Beyond the cert card! 🧠 My dive journey took a crucial turn with my Rescue Diver course. I’m sharing how training in Pacific Northwest’s challenging cold waters transformed me from an ‘underwater tourist’ to a more self-reliant diver with situational awareness.
Most divers fall in love at first breath. My story? Not so much. I literally couldn’t swim properly when I started, and my first discovery dives were more about managing panic than experiencing awe. But I was curious, and that curiosity eventually led me to my Open Water certification, and a surprising love for shipwrecks. This is the beginning of my unique path from a non-swimmer to a diver, and it just might show you a different way forward.”
